- In French class we recapped our visit to the University yesterday and then discussed culture and development.
- We had out first lecture on the history of Cameroon spanning from the post-colonial era through the first president’s reign. President Ahdijo remained in power from 1960 to 1982. Today’s current president, Paul Biya, has been in power since 1982.
- I bought lunch from the mama up the street. Today I had rice, beans, and fish. It was way too much food for me to eat on my own and was spicy but I enjoyed it thoroughly.
- During our free time this afternoon I started thinking about the classes that I have to take next semester and in the rest of my time at George Washington, not something that I necessarily want to have to think about while I’m here.
- I had non-powdered milk for the first time since I’ve been here today!
