Almost exactly four years ago I headed to India to spend a year studying abroad now, once again I'm preparing to leave to study abroad this time in Cameroon.
After exactly a week at home I'm all packed and ready to go. My backpack, which happens to be the bag my mom took around Europe and Egypt when she was my age, and suitcase are sitting by the door.
In half an hour I will be out the door and on my way to Boston for a late night flight. I fly out of Boston at almost midnight tonight. From Boston, I have a layover in Istanbul and then on to Cameroon!
I'm still not entirely sure that this blog will work out while I'm gone this fall. I figured I'd set it up and give it a start before I left just in case. There is a chance however, that I won't have the ability to post enough to make it worth it. This is my experimental post and hopefully there will be many more that follow!
